Kuwait Lifts Ban on All US Poultry Products
US and KUWAIT - The State of Kuwait has lifted its ban on US poultry meat and meat products. US poultry meats and their derivatives are now allowed entry into Kuwait.

By: The Government of Kuwait issued Ministerial Decree # 36/2012, lifting the ban on
imports of US poultry meat, of all types and table eggs, effective immediately. US exports of poultry meat of
all types are now allowed entry into Kuwait.
This decree reverses decree 243/2011, dated June 10, 2011, that was issued instituting a ban on all US poultry
imports, except heat treated products, as a result of the detection of Low Pathogenic Avian Iinfluenza in the states of Missouri and
Minnesota.
