The stand will showcase major egg campaigns including ‘Think Outside the Box’ fronted by celebrity chefs Annabel Karmel, Paul Merrett, Jun Tanaka and Sophie Wright. The leading chefs have developed a collection of a dozen recipes, ranging from Moroccan spiced eggs to poached eggs in red wine, to inspire home cooks to get creative with the great British egg. A new site features the recipes alongside a series of new videos showcasing the dishes and cookery techniques.

‘Eggs for action’ will provide another talking point at the event. The campaign has enlisted sports nutrition specialist Anita Bean to create a website and booklet offering recipe ideas to anyone interested in exercise. More information can be found on www.eggsforaction.co.uk.

British Egg Industry Council representatives will also be on hand to answer questions about the benefits of the British Lion scheme.
