Traders have claimed that their products are priced lower than those from Saudi Arabia, with the help of government subsidies.

Poultry manufacturers have threatened to close their farms in the United Arab Emirates, after rising feed costs have caused major losses for producers, according to a report on MENAFN.

Some producers have claimed the government is not doing enough to help them, by not allowing producers to increase poultry prices to combat the rise in feed costs.
