Newcastle Disease Strikes Another Turkey Flock

ISRAEL - Another turkey flock has been hit by Newcastle disease in Hadarom.

The veterinary authority sent Follow Up Report No.4 dated 27 December to the World Organisation for Animal Health

The report describes one new outbreak of Newcastle disease in a flock of 24,000 six-week-old turkeys in the Hadarom region in south-west Israel. Starting on 10 December, no clinical signs were seen in the flock but 800 birds died.

The epidemiological investigation is ongoing.
