The ban on poultry products from the Czech Republic is a result of an outbreak of Newcastle disease in the Olomouc Region. Other products that are prohibited from entering the country are live poultry, hatching eggs, dawn and feather and poultry meat.

The US has been banned from exporting to Russia because of the presence of ractopamine in turkey feed. The restrictions were introduced on 11 February.
