OIE Reports Another Newcastle Disease Outbreak in Haifa
ISRAEL - The Israeli veterinary authorities have reported another outbreak of Newcastle disease in Haifa, affecting 29-week heavy breeders.

The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 2 on 30 April. According to the report, a drop in lay was obsevred.
A total of 24500 birds were found susceptible, out of which 500 cases were reported. 200 deaths were recorded, and the remaining 24300 birds were destroyed.
The source of the outbreaks remains inconclusive.
