OIE Reports HPAI Outbreaks in Dhaka and Rangpur
BANGLADESH - The Bangladeshi veterinary authorities have reported two outbreaks of H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) at commercial poultry farms located in Rangpur and in Dhaka.

The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 42 on 29 April.
Out of 14,194 susceptible birds, 3,978 cases and deaths were reported; 10,216 birds were destroyed.
The source of the outbreaks remains inconclusive.
