Broiler Production Cost Down in July
BRAZIL - The production cost of broilers was down 2.8 per cent in July, reaching 147.75 points.

The decline was driven by variations in two groups of inputs: nutrition which dropped 2.09 per cent and day-old chicks which was down 1.01 per cent.
During January to July of 2013, production cost of broilers decreased 17.24 per cent mainly due to the decrease in spending on poultry feed, which was down 16.24 per cent.
