Govt Allots Funds to Help Develop Livestock, Crop Sectors
RUSSIAN - At a meeting of the Russian government, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Igor Manylov announced that subsidies will be allotted to provide economic support to crop and livestock production.

He noted that according to the draft regulations of the government, an amount of 3 billion rubles has been set aside for crop production while 8 billion rubles has been allotted to animal production.
"The implementation of the programs in the current year will meet the obligations in terms of growth of revenue from agricultural products," Mr Manylov said.
