Delegates will have the opportunity to look at how cameras, microphones, weighing scales and water/ feed registrations installed in commercial broiler units can improve performance.

Data will also be presented looking at shortening the hatching window in hatcheries to raise chick welfare through the manipulation of light and sound.
The afternoon session will look at the opportunities of indirect heating and monitoring environmental parameters to not only reduce running costs but to also pick up early indicators of disease.

David Speller from Applied Poultry will give a virtual farm tour – demonstrating what impact new technologies can have a commercial unit.
