Azerbaijan to Triple Poultry Meat Production
AZERBAIJAN - Poultry meat production in Azerbaijan is expected to increase to 80,000 tonnes by 2015.

This is one of the purposes provided in the State Programme on Food Security.
However, in total, 45,700 tonnes of poultry meat was produced last year, the department head of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Agriculture Chingiz Farajov told APA-Economics.
He said that the production should be increased by 34,300 tonnes. "In the near future, we plan to increase poultry meat in all categories of farms to 120,000 tonnes."
Mr Farajov said farmers should be given preferential loans for stimulation.
