Deadline Nears on Submissions for WPSA UK Meeting
UK - The UK branch of the World's Poultry Science Association (WPSA) has announced that the annual meeting will be held on 29-30 April 2014 at the University of Nottingham, Jubilee Campus.

Authors are invited to submit papers on any topic related to poultry science.
Online submission is now open and the deadline for submission of abstracts is 2 December 2013.
Sessions in 2014 will include:
- The Gordon Memorial Lecture, delivered by Professor Pete Kaiser of the Roslin Institute.
- Original communications on nutrition, breeding, genetics, health, welfare and environmental impact of poultry production
- WPSA invited speaker session: Beak trimming and injurious feather pecking
- BSAS/WPSA joint session: Large scale animal production – Does big mean bad?
