Corrective measures have been applied on the two poultry establishments, SIF 121 - BRF S.A. (MG) and SIF 576 - Seara Food Ltd (SC). The Russian food safety authorities have eliminated the flaws detected in these two facilities and they are, therefore, free to export to the Russian Federation.

With the elimination of the non-conformities recorded during the inspections in the two establishments as well as the assurances given on compliance with the standards and requirements of the Customs Union and the Russian Federation, Rosselkhoznadzor decided to release the importation of products of these establishments, shipped at a later date (20 November 2013).

Besides these two units, last month, Russia approved six other Brazilian animal (pork and beef) units that were faced with temporary restrictions.
