Hoen to Join Vencomatic Group as CEO

THE NETHERLANDS - The Vencomatic Group has announced the appointment of Theo Hoen as the new CEO. He will join the Vencomatic Group on 1 April 2014.

Vencomatic, founded in 1983 by Cor van de Ven, has grown significantly over this period, and diversified with new brands such as Agro Supply, Prinzen and Vencosteel.

The Vencomatic Group has established a substantial global market position, providing quality poultry products. Continued research and innovation has been the ethos behind this successful expansion. Now with a pipeline of new products being developed, Mr Hoen has been appointed with the aim of organizing and guiding the Vencomatic Group through this new phase of future growth.

With over 25 years of experience in the poultry industry, Mr Hoen was until recently the CEO of Marel and Stork Poultry Processing.

He said on the news of his appointment: “I am very happy to join the Vencomatic Group, as I love to work in the poultry market for an innovative company with a strong customer focus. Moreover, I like working for a company, which recognizes its employees as its most important resources”.

Mr van de Ven will continue to have a significant contribution to the Vencomatic Group by being involved in product innovation.

Commenting on Mr Hoen's appointment, Mr van de Ven said: “I am convinced that with the appointment of Theo we can bring our company in the next growth phase. With this step I feel confident that our company can fulfill the growing demand for sustainable systems for poultry and egg handling and thereby serving our customers with innovative solutions.”
