According to The Hindu, after laying the foundation stone for the construction of houses under the Rajiv Awas Yojana at Dibbur on Friday, Mr Jayachandra said sprouting of poultry farms have resulted in pollution, causing health problems to the people.

He said poultry farms in Davangere and Halkur village in Sira taluk are causing harm to the environment.
