The paper by American nutrition expert, Don McNamara PhD suggests that there is not a link between eating eggs and an increased risk of heart disease.

The research looked at the links between dietary cholesterol, blood cholesterol and heart disease risk and found that "the only health risks associated with egg consumption are those associated with unnecessary and ineffectual restrictions on egg intake."

Many diet and health experts now recognise that egg consumption should be encouraged rather than limited due to the nutrients that they contain.
