Biomin a Success at IPPE 2014

US - Biomin's participated at the the 2014 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) with a booth and the company sponsored a technical seminar on tackling broiler lameness.

Known as the platform for innovative solutions and technologies, the 2014 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) held in Atlanta, GA was a milestone event for the global poultry industry with more than 1,152 exhibitors and 24,865 attendees despite the inclement weather.

A week-long schedule of educational programs accompanied the exhibitions that helped drive attendance.

IPPE is the world's largest annual poultry, feed and meat industry event and is one of the 50 largest trade shows in the US. Sponsored by the US Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY), the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) and the American Meat Institute (AMI).

Biomin's participation by a booth prepared with technical and research experts to meet and greet attendees, followed by a sponsored technical seminar titled Facing the critical challenge in modern broiler production: the lameness.

The presentation and data was given by Dr Robert Wideman, professor from University of Arkansas and Dr Raj Murugesan, Biomin poultry specialist. Active participation by industry experts and producers in the seminar was evident by the question and answer session.

Bringing everything together and to a close Biomin ended the day filled with fun and casual discussions at the booth with an Austrian wine and cheese reception.
