Brazilian Poultry Exports up in First Quarter of 2014

BRAZIL - Surveys conducted by the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) show that Brazilian exports of poultry - including shipments of chickens, eggs, turkeys, ducks and drakes, fertile eggs and genetic material - amounted to 950,200 tonnes in the first quarter of 2014, 0.4 per cent higher compared to the same period last year. Revenues fell by 11.5 per cent, totaling US$1.832 billion.
