New Appointment Strengthens Zoetis UK Poultry Team

UK - Zoetis has announced the expansion of its poultry team in the UK and Ireland with the appointment of Wayne Olbison as Field Service Manager.

Wayne Olbison, Field Service Manager for Zoetis UK Poultry team

Mr Olbison has more than 30 years of experience with leading companies in the poultry industry. In his role as Field Service Manager, he will work at the farm level providing training and expertise to support the range of Zoetis products.

Mr Olbison’s activities will include training and audits for vaccine storage and administration both on farm and in the hatchery together with support for the Zoetis anticoccidial business.

"Wayne’s extensive background in the industry will be a big asset to our poultry team," said James Porritt, Zoetis Poultry Manager for the UK and Ireland. "We have one of the widest product ranges and Wayne’s role is a vital support function for our customers in the practical use of Zoetis products."

Mr Olbison’s extensive experience includes a General Manager role at Hook2Sisters in East Anglia, Senior Production Manager for Grampian in the same region and manager of a 360,000-bird broiler farm for Faccenda in Northamptonshire.

Mr Olbison is married with three children, lives in Garboldisham, South Norfolk, and is a member of the Norfolk and Suffolk Poultry Discussion Group.
