DeWeese Joins Technical Service Team

US - Rory DeWeese, with 25 years’ experience in the US poultry industry, has joined the Cobb-Vantress North American technical service team.

Rory DeWeese, who has joined the Cobb-Vantress technical service team in the USA

Mr DeWeese has been with Pilgrim’s Pride for the last 11 years, most recently as live production manager at their Russellville complex in Alabama, and will be serving Cobb customers in this state, Tennessee and Florida.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from the University of Kentucky, Rory DeWeese began his career with Seaboard Farms in Mayfield, Kentucky, and then became live production manager for ConAgra after its purchase of Seaboard’s poultry division in 2000.

Since the Pilgrim’s Pride acquisition of ConAgra’s chicken business, he has held numerous capacities including complex manager and regional vice president of fast food services responsible for five complexes and the production of more than five million broilers per week.
