Willy Derks from Rondeel Housing will be over from the Netherlands for the event, which may interest egg producers and those associated with the industry.

Mr Derks has developed a roundhouse for layers, which consists of night and day quarters.

It is a completely new concept in bird housing and looks to find the balance between public acceptance, the well-being of the farmer and the welfare of the birds.

The event takes place between 6-8pm

It is free to attend, but booking beforehand is essential on 07779 572598.
