More Backyard Birds Infected with Avian Flu in Viet Nam
VIET NAM - There have been two more outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza in backyard birds in Viet Nam.

By: The first outbreak occurred in Vinh Long province, with 1550 cases. Over 1000 birds died and 541 were destroyed.
The second outbreak occurred in Quang Ngai province. There were 1056 deaths in backyard birds after 8600 cases. 7544 birds were also destroyed to prevent the disease spreading.
