UK Flu Insurance Survey Shows Farmers in Favour
UK - In August the UK's National Farmers Union (NFU) carried out a survey to all NFU poultry subscribers seeking their views on avian influenza insurance and the idea of an industry fund.

By: The NFU received 240 responses to its short survey which reflected 11.7 per cent of total NFU Poultry membership.
The responses received showed a clear desire by membership to have measures in place, whether it is insurance or an industry led fund to cover the costs of secondary cleaning and disinfectant.
