Trouw Animal Nutrition Chief Looks Back on a Successful 2016 IPPE
US - The CEO of Nutreco, Knut Nesse, told ThePoultrySite’s Editor Alice Mitchell that the recent International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) had been “inspirational” and he will be returning next year.

By: Mr Nesse spoke to ThePoultrySite at the Trouw Animal Nutrition stand. Trouw is one of two divisions of Nutreco, the other of which is fish feed business Skretting.
“This is my first visit to this show here in Atlanta, and I have to tell you it has been very inspirational,” said Mr Nesse.
“I’ve had the chance to see a number of customers and players, learning how the poultry business is working within America.
“You can cover a lot of ground in two days, and it is a very good meeting place.”
Mr Nesse said that Nutreco was proud to be presenting its latest acquisition at the show.
Micronutrients is a very large trace mineral and feed additive business in the US, and enables Trouw Nutrition to further strengthen its Selko feed additives product portfolio.
Mr Nesse said Nutreco had completed the acquisition of Micronutrients, which was also present at IPPE on a neighbouring stand, just one week before the show.
“So we are very proud here to present Micronutrients as a member of Nutreco,” he said.
