Novus International Celebrates 25 years of Helping Feed Tomorrow

US - Novus International commemorates 25 years of business this month. The Company, which originated as the Feed Ingredients division of Monsanto, started on its path of Health through Nutrition when Mitsui & Co. Ltd. and Nippon Soda Co., Ltd. acquired it in June 1991.

A leading provider of health and nutrition solutions for livestock, pets and people, Novus employs more than 750 people globally. Since its inception in 1991, many things have changed but its vision, mission and core values have remained true. The vision to help feed the world affordable, wholesome food and achieve a higher quality of life drives everything that Novus does.

Originally only having two products on the market, and working from a strong base of scientific understanding and technological innovation, Novus has grown into five technology platforms over the past decade, with revenues exceeding $1 billion.

In order to better support customers worldwide, its animal nutrition portfolio works in conventional, organic, antibiotic-free and all-natural systems. This ensures customers are able to evolve to meet consumer demand and changing regulatory conditions.

Anniversary celebrations were initiated earlier this year at IPPE in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, followed by various customer-centric events around the world. These celebrations demonstrate appreciation for employees, customers and partners who have supported Novus through the years, and still do today.

“Our success over the past 25 years is due to the trust our customers place in our solutions and services, and our ability to deliver day after day in this competitive environment,” Novus President and Chief Executive Officer François Fraudeau said.

“In addition, the continued support of our shareholders ensures we are prepared to grow with our customers to meet their needs, and to meet the growing demand for protein – safely and sustainably.”
