The conference took place over the course of three days in Saint Petersburg, the city in which BALTISA was founded. It began with a speech by Mr Yuri Trusov, CEO of Lenptitseprom, who retraced the company's history, recalling how, at a very difficult time for the Russian poultry industry, the decision was taken to modernise the sector through the introduction of advanced genetics and the foundation of BALTISA. The President of Rosptitsesoyuz, Mr Vladimir Ivanovitch Fisinin, drew on a report entitled "The State and challenges in the Russian poultry industry" to detail the achievements made by the sector in recent decades, as well as highlighting the challenges it has still to meet. Indeed, the report predicts an increase in internal production of no less than 60% in the next 10 to 15 years, in order to meet growing internal demand and pursue openings in export markets.

In this context, the speeches by Frédéric Grimaud, CEO of Groupe Grimaud, and Olivier Rochard, CEO of Hubbard, were much appreciated: Research and Development at Hubbard has never been more dynamic, and the many tools in use, including those of the very latest generation, are intended to support development in the poultry market, while retaining the strengths of the Hubbard F15 package.

This product, the leader in the Russian market, is renowned for its impressive robustness, its adaptability to a variety of housing conditions including high density and cage production, its extraordinary growth and total meat yield, and its unrivalled feed conversion ratio.

Gennady Petrovic Syedin consequently summed up the situation very well, stating that: "We are naturally proud of our history and our current achievements, but we are even more enthusiastic about the future. The Hubbard F15 broiler, thanks to its ability to adapt to high stocking densities and its incredible good feed conversion ratio, enables to produce 20 to 40 kg more per m²/year than those of any other competing breed. This gives it a level of profitability unequalled on the Russian market."

Many customers from all the different regions of Russia then spontaneously spoke to report their incredible results and to thank the teams at BALTISA and Hubbard for their invaluable advice and support.

Coming together under the slogan "20 with you", Hubbard, BALTISA and all other partners can look forward to sharing many more wonderful years!

The conference closed with a magnificent gala dinner in the Rose Pavilion at Pavlovsk Palace.
