The global hatchery vaccination services program for poultry, known commonly as the C.H.I.C.K* Program, received quality recognition from the international testing and certification company, Bureau Veritas Group, based in Paris, France.

The C.H.I.C.K Program sees Ceva’s specialist teams visiting customer’s hatcheries regularly to run a number of tests to check whether vaccines are properly stored, prepared and administered, as well as delivering continuous training to operators. The shared aim with our customers is to have all birds well vaccinated in the hatchery before being sent to farms.

Ceva has a global team of over 130 hatchery specialists who work with local hatchery managers using innovative data management tools, to continually track performance and ensure continuous improvement of results.

The quality recognition was given based on the C.H.I.C.K Program Quality Code of Practice, a reference guide for which, compliance to its high standards will now be monitored by Bureau Veritas Group at a country level, all around the world.

Commenting on the award Dr. Gabriel Rshaid, Ceva’s Head of Marketing and Global Operations said: “At Ceva, we know that being in the hatchery day to day with our customers is the way to help them get the most productivity from their operations. We probably have the most innovative range of poultry vaccines in the world but unless they are applied properly, this counts for nothing. Now our customers can be sure that the quality services we provide to support our products are of the highest possible international standard."
