For EXAFAN, FIGAN has always been an important event on the calendar. At this edition Exafan made its presence felt with a presentation of a wide range of innovations - two of them receiving awards in the Technical Innovations Competition of FIMA GANADERA 2017.

'The Cloud' - remote climate management platform

Standing out among the awarded innovations is its remote data management platform - “the cloud” – through the SCA poultry control system of EXAFAN – the most advanced climate management and production computer in the market.

It is an integral work system that provides benefits in the precise control and effective management of farms individually, of operations collectively and of all integration.

The “SCA” team has been enabled with the capacity to transmit and send all the information generated to “the cloud”; in other words, to a central server in charge of storing and organizing the data for precise management and decision-making (BIG DATA).

Likewise, CO2, ammonia and temperature and humidity climate sensors have been included in the exposition that intervene in the ideal climate control of a farm and safeguard the suitable conditions for the well-being of the animals.

In the control section in climate control and production, the new range of control computers and regulators with touch screen, powerful and intuitive “Touch and Control Series” was presented. These are devices with an optimal relation between sturdiness, both mechanical and electronic, ease of handling and reduced investment and control all parameters so that the environmental conditions will be ideal.

In the awareness that energy efficiency is the line to follow, both for reasons of conservation of and contribution to the environment, EXAFAN is committed to equipping buildings with its new range of fans with EC “energy saving” electronic motors, sturdy and reliable. With them, significant energy savings are obtained of up to 80 per cent in minimum ventilation speed. The process of changing these fans only requires the substitution of the fan, maintaining the other complementary elements such as the regulator, chimney, etc.

Revolution in ventilation

The great revolution in ventilation has come from the “EOLO 60” large-volume conical fan, manufactured with highly reliable and corrosion-resistant materials, and which offers excellent results proven at demanding work levels, with a maximum volume of 63,860 m³/h. In addition, the new chimney of air intake with zenithal recirculation was presented, to provide optimal ventilation.

The poultry equipment of feeder and drinking trough systems was completed with housings of aviaries for free-range, ecological and breeder hens, in the great EXAFAN commitment to this segment, where it also offers equipment, complete and tailored solutions.

Porcine innovations

With regard to porcine equipment, the award-winning fattening Hopper stands out, which includes a new system of renewed regulation of ambivalent dosing, which regulates the feed and activates the blocking system, providing a solution to an existing problem in the market, the fasting of the animal, without emptying the hoppers. Unique in the market, it incorporates as technical evolution a final food blocking position, with perfect adjustment for correct fasting in periods of loading of animals to slaughterhouse, or in pathologies in which it is necessary to restrict feeding.

Among other innovations, the new EXAFAN grilles for weaning floors of 60 x 80 cm, slats are also outstanding, very sturdy; its new Exaball feeding system that maximizes the food consumption of the animals in farrowing rooms. Likewise, the machine for feeding and selection in pregnancy with weighing system was exhibited at the stand as well as a special initiation hopper for wet feed for maximum intake of feed in the period subsequent to weaning.

In short, a great deployment of innovations and a perfect combination between product and global service for the agricultural sector that combines high quality, technology and efficiency. Thus, EXAFAN is recognized as a pioneer company in innovation and was very pleased with the large turnout of visitors received at this great event of the sector.
