"Our goal is always to be fully updated so we can help our partners in their decision making," said Cobb technical services director for South America, Bernardo Gallo. “Our team leaves this meeting very confident about the good results our male MV has already obtained."

During the meeting, the participants were updated on the full Cobb genetic package and the results for breeders, broilers and meat yield. Special attention was given to nutrition and the economics of the Brazilian poultry industry when compared with the U.S. market.

Experts from the Cobb World Technical Support Team – hatchery specialist Scott Martin and nutrition specialist Vitor Hugo Brandalize – were joined by guests from the poultry sector. The event included training on practical use of compartmentalization and an evaluation of hatchery improvement opportunities. Differences between vaccination programs against the infectious bronchitis and antibiotic-free production were also discussed.
