The meeting provided poultry growers an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and glean critical Rowan Range flock management and nutrition advice. Aviagen® SweChick welcomed 16 attendees, including breeder, broiler and hatchery managers, nutritionists and veterinarians.

Success in up-and-coming market

Aviagen also presented its future strategy for further advancement of the Rowan Range product portfolio of specialty birds, developed to meet the needs of the slower-growing, free-range and organic market segments.

Aviagen’s ongoing business approach is to offer an all-inclusive portfolio of products to meet evolving market needs and, in turn, offer customers a variety of choices. The company has been developing the Rowan Range for more than a decade. In recent years, the slower-growing product line has been gaining popularity in Scandinavia and throughout Europe for its exceptional health and welfare characteristics, as well as excellent performance for meat production.

Rowan Range Business Manager for Europe, Claudio Ambrogio, commented, “We enjoyed this opportunity to get together with our valued Rowan Range customers in Scandinavia. At a time when slower-growing poultry is picking up momentum throughout the region, it was an ideal occasion to share experiences and offer the latest management knowledge to equip them for success in this rapidly emerging marketplace.”
