Among those who attended were team leaders, site managers, project managers, electrical managers, and others. “We want to provide the best possible service to our customers throughout Asia,” Mr Jan Hofstede, President of Big Dutchman Asia, summarised the 3-day intensive program of presentations, strategic planning and brainstorming.

The meeting began with a welcome address delivered by Mr Hofstede, followed by an overview of the regional ASFS activities. Mr Hofstede thanked the team for a successful year 2019. For 2020, he announced plans to further boost the company’s commitment as well as the implementation of best practices for high customer satisfaction. The session continued with a recap of 2019’s regional activities by Mr Tan Too Meng, Director of Big Dutchman Asia’s ASFS division.

The second day was filled with presentations and an intensive exchange of ideas. Mr Dirk Schlichting, Head of the ASFS division based at the Big Dutchman headquarters in Germany, gave the participants an overview of the global ASFS plans for the future.

The three days of intensive contacts and meetings ended with a photo session to commemorate the occasion, and with the team returning to their respective countries with renewed energy and motivation.
