Aviagen Asia Pacific strengthens customer support, appoints New Indian River Brand Manager and Customer Service Specialist

Aviagen® Asia Pacific is pleased to welcome Dr. Daniel Gomes as its Brand Manager for Indian River®, effective March 29, and Customer Service Specialist Naphangpat Pawang.

Reporting directly to Dr. Rafael Monleon, Business Manager of Asia Pacific, Dr. Daniel will work with Indian River customers to develop brand strategies and business plans, thus strengthening their businesses while maximizing customer satisfaction. He will also act as a liaison between the global Indian River support teams and Asia-Pacific customers. These global teams provide customers with a wealth of expertise in areas such as bird feed nutrition, veterinary medicine, hatchery/incubation support and flock management.

Working closely with Dr. Daniel, Naphangpat will serve both Arbor Acres® and Indian River customers -- supporting the relationship from order to delivery. She will monitor all steps of the process to ensure the health and welfare of Aviagen birds and satisfaction of its customers, while also supporting adherence to U.S. and international trade laws and regulations.

About Dr. Daniel Gomes

Dr. Daniel brings to this position a considerable background in both business development and poultry health and production. He comes to Aviagen Asia from Farmabase Saude Animal, a Brazilian animal health company, where he served for nine years in a variety of commercial and customer support roles. Before that, he worked as Field Veterinarian for Parent Stock and broiler production at Seara, one of Brazil’s largest poultry-producing companies.

He earned a degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) in Brazil (2006), as well as a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at FGV University (Brazil) in 2012. He has 15 years of experience in poultry production and has extensive business development experience, introducing new distributors and clients in more than 30 countries.

About Naphangpat Pawang

Naphangpat joined Aviagen in 2013 and supported the Asia-Pacific business as Office Manager until accepting the current position. Before then, she served the textile industry for two years as Export Sales Manager, and Saha Farms for eight years as Food Safety Manager.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management from Rangsit University in Thailand, and a Master’s in International Business Administration from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom.
