Broiler exports to Mexico, Cuba, Philippines, and Guatemala during the 9-month period reached an all-time high in both volume and value. Exports to China set a year-over-year record in value, reported the US Poultry and Egg Export Council.

Total broiler export quantity for January through September this year set a record of 2,769,515 metric tons.

Meanwhile, strength in South Korea, Hong Kong, Mexico, and Canada propelled egg exports. Table egg exports for the first nine months of this year reached an all-time high of 158.2 million dozen valued at $159.7 million.

Despite supply tightness, turkey exports for January through September this year increased by 0.8 percent in volume and 14.4 percent in value. There was an increase in shipments to Mexico, Benin, and South Africa.
