Avian influenza reported on Swedish farm

The case is just one of many to hit Europe in recent weeks.

Last month, Sweden issued an order for all poultry to be kept indoors to avoid contact with wild birds, reported Reuters.

"The current highly pathogenic bird flu virus is very contagious between birds," the Swedish Board of Agriculture said.
