Argentina confirms first avian influenza outbreaks

Argentina's agriculture secretary Juan Jose Bahillo said on Wednesday the South American country has confirmed its first cases of avian influenza in wild birds, leading it to declare a sanitary emergency and reinforce measures against the disease, according to a report from Reuters.
