TARGAN has appointed Lily Parshall Wachter as chief financial officer, tasking her with leading the company’s financial strategy as it advances its technology priorities and expands its commercial footprint, according to a company-issued press release

Ramin Karimpour, chief executive officer of TARGAN, said Wachter’s background would support the company’s next phase of growth.

“We’re pleased to welcome Lily to the team,” Karimpour said. “Her sustainability insight will sharpen our strategic thinking and help elevate how we tell the TARGAN story. Her experience will be valuable as we work to align innovation with long-term impact.”

Wachter began her career as an equity analyst at Goldman Sachs before moving into senior finance roles at early-stage companies focused on sustainability. She has served as CFO in both for-profit and non-profit organisations, including biotechnology firms Edeniq and Biomason. Her experience spans corporate finance, venture growth, carbon reduction and sustainable development initiatives.

“I’m energized by the mission at TARGAN and the team’s focus on solving real-world challenges in food and animal health,” Wachter said. “This role brings together innovation, finance and purpose-driven growth.”

TARGAN is currently expanding deployment of its WingScan technology in the United States and Europe, with additional rollouts planned in Asia, Latin America and Brazil. The company is also developing next-generation poultry technologies targeted for release in 2026 and is accelerating work on new solutions for the swine and aquaculture sectors as part of a broader multi-species strategy.
