South Africa's Astral Foods appoints two independent directors
Alexander Muller and Marion Shikwinya join board from August 1

By: South African poultry producer Astral Foods has appointed Alexandra Muller and Marion Shikwinya as independent non-executive directors and members of its audit and risk committee, effective August 1, 2026, according to a company-issued press release.
Muller is a chartered accountant and former PricewaterhouseCoopers partner who headed the firm's governance, risk and internal audit practice in financial services. She currently serves as a non-executive director of AVI Limited and Infiniti Insurance Limited.
Shikwinya is an admitted attorney with a background in intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, and ESG. She currently serves on the board of listed infrastructure company Mahube Infrastructure Limited and represents the Agricultural Business Chamber on the Gauteng Province Agri Black Economic Empowerment Sector Charter Structure.
