Print This Page Tallegg's Eight-Month Turnover
ESTONIA - Tallegg, Estonia's largest poultry producer, recorded a turnover worth EEK336 million (USD27.2 million) in the first eight months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 30 per cent, according to the LETA news agency.
The company's board chairman, Teet Soorm, said that warm summer weather and growing retail trade gave a major boost to sales of Tallegg's products last summer. Sales ranged from 848 tonnes to 932 tonnes of products per month during the summer.
Soorm added that there is plenty of potential for poultry consumption growth in Estonia.
