Print This Page Russia Gives Export License To Chilean Company
RUSSIA - Russia’s state veterinary service, Rosselkhoznadzor, says that four Chilean companies have been given licenses to export poultry to Russia following their inspection by Russian veterinary officials, according to the Interfax news agency.A Rosselkhoznadzor official said that under a bilateral agreement with Chile, Chilean exports will initially be controlled by a Russian specialist working with a company in Argentina.
Rosselkhoznadzor said that in Latin American, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay currently export meat to Russia, but that they could soon be joined by other countries such as Mexico, where Russian specialists recently completed an audit of the country’s quality control system for meat exports.
