LATVIA - The Lielzeltini Latvian-Israeli poultry joint venture in Latvia recorded a profit worth LVL750,000 (USD1.38 million) in 2006, nine times the company’s profit in 2005, according to Baltic Business News.Company turnover in 2006 of around LVL11 million (USD20.3 million) was 47 per cent higher year-on-year. Lielzeltini put into operation a new mixed feed factory in 2006 that not only supplies the company but also the Kekava poultry producer.
