Print This Page Croatia Adds Temporary Ban on Hungarian Poultry
CROATIA - The Croatian government announced on January 24 a temporary ban on poultry imports from Hungary following information from Hungary’s veterinary authorities about suspected cases of bird flu in a flock of geese in the Csongrad region in south-eastern Hungary, according to SeeNews.The report noted that the ban will remain in place until the results of tests on the geese are completed. Meanwhile, the Serbian government announced a ban on poultry imports from Hungary into Serbia.
