RUSSIA - Igor Kofman, chairman of the board of directors at the Euroservice Meat Corporation in Russia, says that domestic poultry production is likely to account for 70 per cent of the domestic poultry market by 2010, according to the Interfax news agency.The size of the market is an annual 2.2 million tonnes with imports accounting for 1.1 million tonnes. Kofman forecast an increase in the share held by poultry of the Russian meat market to 55 per cent from 35 per cent in 2004.
