A Big Hit For The New System That Detects Cracks In Eggs

ONTARIO - Sensor Wireless Inc. reports that sales of its newest CrackLess Egg release exceeded company expectations for last 12 months. Customers report that the New CrackLess Egg System provided significant revenue benefits, surpassing expectations.

Chris Monden of Unicorn Farms in Ontario,Canada, says "the CrackLess Egg has been the difference between a good flock and a really good flock."

Sensor Wireless introduced the new CrackLess Egg in May 2006, with improved line of sight performance and data reporting capabilities. Wayd McNally, President and CEO of Sensor Wireless Inc. said, "We listened to our hundreds of customers and made advancements to improve the overall usability of the product. These changes have resulted in a 78% drop in customer service enquiries due to the improved platform. Currently, we have systems in use in over 20 countries worldwide and forecast increase sales of 50% in fiscal 2007 when compared to the revenue derived from the CrackLess Egg product line."

Joel Dyer, Esbenshade Farms, Pennsylvania, USA reported, "By using the CrackLess Egg technology I was able to fix a crack problem in multiple barns that would normally have taken 1-2 weeks to find, in less than 1 day, and improve grades by 2.5% in doing so."

CrackLess Egg meets the quality improvement needs of egg producers. The original system was introduced in 2003 at the International Poultry Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, USA and since then has been helping egg producers with as few as 25,000 layers improve equipment and processes used to handle shell eggs. CrackLess Egg uses Active Wireless Sensor Technology developed by Sensor Wireless that is unchallenged in Agricultural, Glass Beverage, and Pharmaceutical Industries. CrackLess Egg is a self contained quality improvement system that can be put to use in any egg handling system in 20 minutes or less and requires little technical knowledge of computers or software to use.

The base system sells for less than $5,000 US. It creates immediate return on investment for egg producers by identifying where and at what magnitude shell crack occurs. This innovation vastly reduces the need for costly shut downs of grading and handling equipment.
