The Egg Board has called for all chicken egg farmers to register with the Livestock Department.

In exchange for providing their basic operational information, the farmers would receive incentives such as financial help comes natural disasters and in dealing with various epidemics and diseases, according to the ordinance and regulation of the Finance Ministry and the Animal Epidemic Act 1956, respectively.

But there is a catch. This initiative has other implications for farmers too - any expansion from old and new ranches must submit their business and marketing plans for the Egg Board committee to approve.
