Print This Page 19 Hospitalized In Salmonellosis Outbreak At Lipetsk Poultry Farm
VORONEZH - A salmonellosis outbreak was registered among workers of a poultry farm of the company “Chicken Kingdom” in the Lipetsk region, 19 people were hospitalized as a result of the outbreak.The condition of the infected people is estimated as light and moderate-to-severe, chief regional epidemiologist Lyudmila Kirillova told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
The preliminary reports said workers, who worked in shifts for the reconstruction of a building of the poultry farm, got infected after they had had a diner at the canteen.
