Print This Page Tasmanian Egg Industry Under Fire Over Intensive Production
AUSTRALIA - An animal welfare group is trying to pull together the biggest petition in Tasmanian history, to stop intensive egg production.Against Animal Cruelty Tasmania is conducting door knocks around Hobart, collecting signatures.
The group wants the petition tabled in State Parliament.
Petition coordinator Ben Bartl says they are aiming for 50,000 signatures.
