Eggsellent New Website in Schools

Following research to identify the resources teachers are most in need of, the new website will provide an interactive classroom resource, allowing teachers to practically demonstrate everything there is to know about eggs.

www.crackingeggs.co.uk has been designed by education specialists to ensure that it fits with all aspects of the National Curriculum. The site, which has separate areas for students and teachers, covers all four key stages, making it relevant for children from 5 -16.

Mark Williams, Chief Executive of the British Egg Industry Council, said: “Teachers are desperate for high quality resources to use in the classroom and our new website gives them the opportunity to talk about the role eggs play in a healthy diet from a very early age.”
