Print This Page Russia Lifts Restrictions On Polish Poultry
MOSCOW, RUSSIA - The Federal Veterinary And Phytosanitary Monitoring Service (Rosselkhoznadzor) has lifted restrictions on the import of poultry products from Poland.The restrictions had been in effect since December 2007, the veterinary watchdog’s press secretary, Alexei Alexeyenko, said on Tuesday.
According to the official, “This decision has been made in connection with stabilisation of the epizootic situation in Poland regarding the H5N1 strain of bird flu, under guarantees of the Polish veterinary service on the safety of products it supplies to Russia.”
