BULGARIA - Farmers are protesting that poultry prices are not rising to cover higher costs.The protest of the milk producers at Shipka peak is about to begin, reports Focus. Poultry farmers are supporting the protest.
"Our demands are for free of charge help for the subsidies in the poultry breeders branch. The real price of a bird is 30 lev (BGN) but we have to sell them for BGN20-25. We will continue to protest and to support each other," said poultry breeder, Stoyan Panayotov.
