Print This Page Minister Urges Industry to Curb Prices
BANGLADESH - The Livestock Minister has requested poultry farmers to keep meat and egg prices affordable.Bangladesh's Livestock Minister, M. Abdul Latif Biswas, is seeking the co-operation from the owners of commercial poultry farms to keep the prices of chicken and egg within the buying capacity of the common people, reports Individual.
"The big poultry farm owners should take pragmatic measures to keep chicken and egg prices at a reasonable level," he said while inaugurating the 2009 Distributors' Conference at Kazi Poultry Farms.
